Fialelei Matthews for Senator

What experience and qualifications do you have?

I have been a member of several social and community service organizations since my freshman year at UMBC. I have held executive board positions since my sophomore year, dealing mostly with logistics and organization of social and community service events. I am currently a member of the Collaboration Unit of the Student Organizations Support (SOS) Staff of the SGA and the Social Events Committee Chair.

What is your platform? What do you hope to accomplish if you win?

As a student I feel that publication of available resources needs improvement. Our campus needs to foster better relationships between students and administrators so that we can work together to improve unity and productivity.

What I really want students to know about me is….

I am just like you, trying to make my small mark on this big world. I believe that change is not a one step process and it begins with a single voice. Being the loquacious person I am I figured I might as well start talking.

Platform Summary:
  • Improve Food Quality, Service, and Price
  • On campus beautification
  • Organization and Collaboration of Student Organizations
