Amday Wolde for Senator

What experience and qualifications do you have?

I am the cheif of staff of UMBC's black student union. I also serve as the community social chair of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.

What is your platform? What do you hope to accomplish if you win?

I plan to help the thoughts of the students to be expressed in a reasonable manner. I want to help more students to truly feel that SGA is taking into consideration their concerns and their hopes for their school. If I win, I would take a special interest in talking to my fellow classmates and hearing their concerns.

What I really want students to know about me is….

I am the kind person who really makes it my issue to make sure that people around me are happy. This is an extremely important skill in the senator position. I really care about my fellow students and my school and I would love the opporunity to be able to help both at the same time.

Platform Summary:
  • Make sure we are continually understanding the thoughts of fellow students.
  • Increase the school spirit on campus.
  • Increase student awareness of on campus issues.
